The Vibäck guesthouse was built in 1938 and now it will flourish again and give everyone a chance to enjoy Swedish nature at Pensionat Vibäck10, just inside the fairway, in Marsviken, between Arkösund and Oxelösund. It is also easy to get to us by car as it is very well located on the border between Sörmland and Östergötland.
Selma Andersson (born 9/9 1881) and her husband Gerhard Andersson (born 22/9 1872) built Vibäck Pensionat in 1938 with seven guest rooms, kitchen, dining room, serving room, two toilets and a bathroom. Three cottages, two of which were winter homes, were also built and a total of 30 guests could stay there. The beach already existed then.
In the fall of 2023, we took over Vibäck10. After a lot of planning, we decided to rebuild Vibäck into a guesthouse again. The goal is to create a place for experiences, a place to enjoy. Good food, nice accommodations and ice cream in large quantities. Weddings, 70th birthday parties, conferences, holiday weeks and relaxing theme weekends. Music evenings, gourmet evenings, spa experiences and collaborations with local actors. This in the middle of the fantastic Swedish archipelago, where you can get there by both boat and car. Our plans are many and we are very much looking forward to getting started! Now we are going =)!

I want to create a paradise. It will take a while and below you will see some milestones.
The reception will be built
Many permits must be sought and systems must be installed.
Create parking spaces with electricity
We are going to renovate the kitchen into a café kitchen.
We will install electric car chargers in the parking lot.
Install broadband so we can offer wifi in all cabins
We will prepare all cabins by May 1st when we start!
We will start building terraces in stages down towards the water so that we have plenty of space for café and restaurant guests to sit and enjoy ice cream, food and the view.
We are preparing space for a restaurant kitchen, conference rooms and a more beautiful entrance.
We are rebuilding the cottages Skoggläntan 1 and 2 into 3 suites.
Building a restaurant kitchen
Renovate the Bryggan building into a spa, with a pool, sauna and relaxation area.
On the edge of the forest lies Gläntan, one of our large cottages with 6 beds and room for extra beds. With a sea view and only 50 m to the beach, you can’t live better if you want to experience the Swedish summer. The house has a private patio. The cottage has two bedrooms and a toilet. The cottage also has a large living room with high ceilings for shared activities and a simple kitchen. Next to the cottage is the service house with showers, sauna, toilets and laundry.
With a fantastic location, only a few meters from the sea and with the forest on the doorstep, lies Platån. In Platån you will find a common area with a sofa and space for an extra bed. There is a shower, toilet and two bedrooms equipped with beds for two. The cottage has an equipped kitchen and dining table. The cottage has free wifi and the cottage also has its own wooden deck with outdoor furniture in front of the house.
Skogsbacken 1 & 2 are cottages that both have 4 beds and room for extra beds. The beach is around the corner. The house has a private patio. The cottage has two bedrooms and a toilet. The cottage also has a common area/kitchen with equipment. Access to the service building with showers, sauna, toilets and laundry. Free parking. Free WiFi.
